Join local volunteer cyclists for free, friendly, drop-in bike repair and maintenance sessions. Learn practical skills including puncture repair, tyre changing, brake and gear adjustment, and general bike maintenance.
The session is hands-on and open to everyone, from complete beginners to those looking to build their confidence and improve their existing skills. Adults and children are welcome.
Tools and equipment will be provided, with demo bikes available to practice on or bring along your own bike and have a go at making a repair yourself!
This event will take place at Black Mount Primary School, Elsrickle, ML12 6QZ.
No booking is required; just pop along on the day.

About the organiser
Black Mount is one of 33 Community Council areas in South Lanarkshire and includes local residents in the settlements of Dunsyre, Dolphinton, Elsrickle, Newbigging, Walston, Weston, Candy Mill, Libberton and the surrounding area. Black Mount Community Development Trust are a registered charity set up in May 2025 by a growing group of local people interested in supporting community development activity across Black Mount.
