Join Heart of the Junction CIC for a hands-on soil workshop delivered by Propagate Scotland CIC.
Bring along a handful of your own soil from wherever you grow - your garden, a community garden, an allotment - and dive into the details of your soil, looking closely at what's happening beneath the surface, exploring practical ways you can work with it to get the most out of your growing space.
This session is suitable for all skill levels, whether you are completely new to growing or are a seasoned grower. The session will look at soil texture and structure, home composting, wormeries and natural soil feeds, with plenty of time to discuss your own growing space.
This event will take place at the Wooden Hut (behind Station Apartments), Strawfrank Road, Carstairs, ML11 8PP.
