Milton Rovers YFC will launch a week-long Refill, Reuse, Recycle campaign during Lanarkshire Climate Action Festival. This campaign is designed to encourage young players and families to reduce waste from drinks containers. During the week players will learn about the impact of single-use drinks bottles and be encouraged to make a simple change: bring a reusable water bottle to football, whenever possible.
Players will be provided with Milton Rovers water bottles and will learn why reusing is better than single-use. Whilst this campaign is directed at the players of Milton Rovers, long-term it will benefit the wider community including local biodiversity and greenspaces.
This event will take place at Milton Rovers Community Hub, Burn Road, Carluke, ML8 5BZ.
This is a closed event for Milton Rovers players, coaches and families.

Milton Rovers YFC were formed in 1991 and are based in Carluke. Since then they have given children in Carluke & surrounding areas the opportunity to play football at various age groups, starting from 4 years old.
